Wearable Windows
Moleskin and transparent vinyl
We as individuals are (or try to appear to be) more transparent than ever, with our constant obsession of showing others who we want to be seen as. The Wearable Windows series is an extension of this culture.

This is a cotton acket with a transparent vinyl window-box in the back that allows an artist/wearer to display a work of art, screen or item of choice for viewing. This jacket is intended to encourage multidisciplinary artists and other creatives to use clothing as another domain for self-expression, to express past works, adapt works, or create entirely new conversations, as a window into their work, and who they are.

The jacket allows for a three-lane conversation between myself, the wearer, and the viewer. My contribution comes from the concept that brings into question the boundaries of art and design.
